Aerospace Weekly (A.W.) is run by a group of extremely talented, profession, and passionate individuals whose sole purpose on this website is to promote HighFidelity Flight Simulation and Aerospace, inclusive of Aviation and Space.

David M. Edwards B.S., M.B.A.

Founder, Owner, Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O.), and Editor-In-Chief

David has been in flight simulation since the mid to late 1980’s. He earned his private pilot single engine (P.S.E.L.) license in 1992 at nineteen (19) years of age. David earned his instrument rating and completed a professional commercial pilot training program in 2001 at WestWind School of Aeronautics in Phoenix, AZ (KDVT). He has accumulated approximately 280 hours of total logged flight time as a pilot including: 225 hours as Pilot-In-Command (P.I.C.), 40 hours of complex aircraft operation, and more than 10 hours of multi-engine flight time. David lives in Portland, Oregon; United States of America (U.S.A.) in the Pacific Northwest, long-time home of the National Basketball Association (N.B.A.) Portland Trailblazers. David has developed a sixteen year track record of sustained and effective Science research. Married for over fourteen (14) years with a seven (7) year-old daughter, whom graduated Kindergarten last year, family life constantly keeps David Busy, on his toes, and alert.

David’s science and research background and career has a foundation based on his earned Bachelor’s of Science (B.S.) degree in Microbiology, with a Minor in Chemistry (specialized in Quantitative Chemistry), from Oregon State University located in Corvallis, Oregon (United States of America; U.S.A.).

David earned his Master’s in Business Administration (M.B.A.) expert online degree, which was essentially from the Highly Renowned New York University (N.Y.U.) Stern School of Business (Ranked #4 of of 287 evaluated programs in 2019 for part-time M.B.A. programs and #12 overall for Best Business Schools out of 475 programs in the United States (U.S.) [U.S. News and World Reports], through the University of the People online M.B.A. university platform.  Russell S. Winer Ph.D., long-time tenured William H. Joyce Professor of Marketing and Deputy Chair of Marketing is the Dean of the extraordinarily rigorous and comprehensive M.B.A. program at the University of the People. The M.B.A. program embodies and promotes deep global and vigorous discourse within its cohorts on the global platform of University of the People.

Simone Biles, nicknamed “$imoney,” the Pinnacle of Women’s Gymnastics, twenty-five (25) time World metalist (the most ever documented), including nineteen (19) World Gold and four Olympic (2016) Gold Metals is now a University of the People student, accroding to Forbes Magazine and University of the People. Moreover, Simone, also known as (a.k.a.) $imoney, has been appointed an Ambassador of University of the People for her Unprecedented Accomplishments, Untarnished Character, Consistently Respectful and Consistently Classy Track Record of Behavior and Decisions. David took all thirteen (13) available graduate level business courses with a final cumulative Grade Point Average equal to 3.923 (c.G.P.A. = 3.923). David completed his required Thesis Project and Capstone Management Research Project, entitled “The Global Grounding of the Boeing 737 MAX.” The project earned a solid A grade for its Defense, Interview, and Final Report. The M.B.A. degree was Awarded and Conferred to David with a Graduation date of August 21, 2019. David has been Appointed as an Ambassador of University of the People and has also been Appointed to the University of the People Alumni Group.

Mr. Andrew Treulich B.S. has made significant and notable contributions to the flight simulation community and is pursuing a career as successful, sustainable, and fruitful career as a Airline Pilot. He has served previously as the Executive Editor of Air Daily X (A.D.X.).

Mr. Treulich graduated Summa Cum Laude on Wednesday May 13th 2020 from Farmingdale State College in Farmingdale, New York (United States of America; U.S.A.) earning his Bachelors of Science (B.S.) in Aeronautical Science with Specialization as a Professional Pilot, and a minor in Aviation Administration, with a cumulative Grade Point Average (c.G.P.A.) of 3.92. Notably, Mr. Treulich as recognized in the “Presidents List” in the Fall of 2019 at Farmington State College in New York. Mr. Treulich is a U.S.A. Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) Commerical Pilot (CPL)with an Instrument Rating (IR), a Certified Flight Instructor (C.F.I.), and a Certified Flight Instrument Instructor (C.F.I.I.) . Mr. Truelich has logged over 1,100 hours Total Time (T.T.,). Mr. Treulich previously worked part-time as a Line Service Technician (L.S.T.) and is now a staff C.F.I. at Heritage Flight AcademyL.L.C., working there since April of 2017. In his initial role as a L.S.T. at Heritage Flight Academy Andrew provides a vast array of services from aircraft detail to aircraft service management (e.g. fueling, hangering, transport, etc.). He is also Vice President of Alpha Eta Rho (A.H.P.), a professional collegiate aviation fraternity founded in 1929.

Cameron Hutchings

Managing Editor of Aerospace Safety, Incident, and Crash Investigations.

Mr. Cameron Hutchings has officially been Reported and Recorded as Missing In Action (M.I.A.) as of Monday March 29, 2021 (A.D.) 23:28 P.D.T. (DME).

Cameron is a U.S. F.A.A. license private pilot with 67.2 total logged flight hours, 24.8 hours as Pilot In Command (P.I.C.), and 21.2 hours logged hours in high performance aircraft. He has approximately ten years of service and experience as a “Crew Chief” (Supervising Chief Mechanic) in both the U.S. Air Force Reserve and the Utah Air National Guard for the Boeing C-17 transport aircraft (3 years and 7 months) and the Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker air-refueling aircraft (6 years and 1 month), respectively. As Crew Chief, Cameron was ultimately responsible for the overall mechanical safety of the aircraft. When necessary Cameron triaged routine maintenance and major repairs to specialist technicians (e.g. propulsion, avionics, flight controls, hydraulics, fuel, etc.), as required. He completed a 135 day deployment to Ali AI Salem AB, Kuwait in support of U.S. Operation Iraqi Freedom and U.S. Operation Enduring Freedom. Several additional international deployments included: Guam, Qatar, and Spain. Cameron spent close to a year on duty tanker orders performing missions across the world doing aerial refueling and medical evacuations. He has completed courses (including: Introduction to Aerospace, Aerodynamics, Meteorology, Aviation Law, and Aerospace Safety) at the world renown and prestigious Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (E.R.A.U.), which offers a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Aviation available on worldwide campuses and online. As an avid and high-fidelity flight simulation enthusiast, Cameron has recently selected to be a Navigraph Charts Cloud beta tester. Navigraph was founded in Sweden in 2003 and provides the international flight simulation and its 309,696 active users with detailed navigation charts, airport charts, software and tools similar to those available to the aviation industry. Currently, Cameron works full-time for H5X Licensed Legal Company (L.L.C.) as a Mission Planning Hardware Subject Matter Expert (S.M.E.). Incorporated in 2004, H5X L.L.C provides professional services in the areas of “Space and Mission Defense Support”: “Providing Research & Development, Engineering, and Technical Services to the U.S. Government.”
