First reported today (06-18-2020) by Enthusiastic Calum Martin (FSELITE CoFounder and Content Director) of the Resourceful FSELITE flight simulation news network (www.FSELITE.net), THRUSTMASTER Incorporated (Inc.) will launch their new THRUSTMASTER CIVILIAN AVIATION (T.C.A.) product line on June 25th of the year 2020. THRUSTMASTER was “Founded in 1992 and purchased by Guillemot Corporation” (Founded in 1984) “in 1999“, According to THRUSTMASTER (2020). Guillemont had its Initial Public Offering (I.P.O.) of stock on November 27, 1998, According to Guillemot (2020). Guillemont Stock is trading on the Euronext Paris Stock Exchange under the symbol “GUI” for 2.96 EUROS per share today.

In the year 1997, THRUSTMASTER built a Rotational Hand Controller (R.H.C.) for both the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (N.A.S.A.) and Lockheed Martin (L.M.) Corporation for in the Space Shuttle Simulator used by N.A.S.A. Astronauts. ” Its design mirrors the action of the Rotational Hand Controller (R.H.C.) built for the Johnson Space Center and Lockheed Martin by THRUSTMASTER. Crafted for use in Space Shuttle training simulations, the RHC is utilized by astronauts on the ground to practice runway touchdowns, as well as in orbit to sharpen maneuvering and landing techniques,” According to N.A.S.A. (1998).

“THRUSTMASTER® launches its TCA (Thrustmaster Civil Aviation) product range, officially licensed by AIRBUS®: Experience incredibly lifelike sensations and features, and virtually step into the shoes of an airline captain,” according to THRUSTMASTER (2020).

The first products out of the new line will be HighFidelity AIRBUS Industries side stick and throttle controls releasing on June 25th 2020 and September 2020, respectively.

“The TCA Sidestick Airbus Edition is an ergonomic replica of the Airbus sidestick (A320/A320neo type, 1:1 scale) featuring 12 remappable action buttons offering a multitude of possibilities, plus a built-in throttle axis including a unique feature found on airliners,” according to THRUSTMASTER (2020).
