The Microsoft Corporation appears to be continuing their development of the Microsoft Flight Simulator.
First reported by Daan (no last name provided) (Editor–In–Chief) of FSElite and its consortium of various staff, members, affiliates, ad–hoc‘s, and entities, The Microsoft Flight Simulator is continuing to be developed, apparently.
Whether coerced or not, the FSElite group has stated as published “the team developing Microsoft Flight Simulator,” presumably Microsoft employees, “wanted to share a quick development update with us.” Apparently, this new is episode in the self-appointed FSElite “Exclusive” campaign.
Regardless of the FSElite semantics, the alleged interaction by the FSElite “Editor–In–Chief” “Daan” and associated FSElite personel/staff, suggests that The Microsoft Corporation is continuing the development of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The “exact” same “verbatim” information FSElite states was given to them freely from the Microsoft Flight Simulator development team is provided Microsoft Flight Simulator product “Insider” web page, which can be viewed by clicking here. I’m sure FSElite team and the FSElite “Editor–In–Chief” Daan is absolutely, genuinely, and definitely following its defined “Honest Speaking” and “Integrity Foremost” components of its charter that can be viewed by clicking here.
Obviously and extremely generously, definitive specifics are not expected from The Microsoft Corporation and/or the Microsoft Flight Simulator development team regarding the product at such an unknown developmental stage.
Few details have been elaborated and/or even suggested and/or even proposed other than the product will be open to third-party developers.
The Microsoft Corporation and the associated Microsoft Flight Simualtor development team has Blessed and Bequeathed the flight simulation community and consumer software market with an textual paragraph update and a single new screen shot (non-4K resolution [4,096 x 2,160 pixel resolution]).
The latest July 11th update from yesterday states:
The Microsoft Flight Simulator Team”

The “so we press forward” statement does not instill or emit confidence and/or much genuine resassurance, as it suggests the project and program can be “discontinued” at anytime and/or any moment. Perhaps The Microsoft Corporation does not have the interest and/or motivation and/or resources and/or finance for such a program in a reasonably timely manner.
Regardless, it is hopeful and reassuring Microsoft Flight Simulator development continues to some degree, regardless of the secrecy and marketing tactics and/or strategies.
HAVE A GREAAATTTTTTT Weekend Everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not getting your point, Your saying because they said “We press Forward” that they are not giving it a 100%? Their 30% is better than what P3D or Laminar Research could do together. Could they stop at any time? Sure and so can p3D and Laminar Research. But they started the whole flight sim hobby and did it for over 25 years. So not even seeing the first beta yet I think what your saying baseless at this point.
