And no the United States Legislative Branch (also know as the United States Congress) did not fail to deliver any material legislation. That was yesterday. No worries.

The Cable News Network’s (C.N.N.’s) chief aerospace reporter and correspondent Ashley Strickland first reported a wonderful image of a Supermassive Black Hole in the middle of the Milky Way (pictured below) Four “4 million times more massive than our sun.”

“For the first time, astronomers have captured an image of the supermassive black hole at the center of our galaxy. It’s the first direct observation confirming the presence of the black hole, known as Sagittarius A*, as the beating heart of the Milky Way. Black holes don’t emit light, but the image shows the shadow of the black hole surrounded by a bright ring, which is light bent by the gravity of the black hole. Astronomers said the black hole is 4 million times more massive than our sun.”

“For decades, astronomers have wondered what lies at the heart of our galaxy, pulling stars into tight orbits through its immense gravity,” Michael Johnson, astrophysicist at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian, said in a statement.”

US officials confirmed to CNN that Russia launched hypersonic missiles against Ukraine last week, the first known use of such missiles in combat. The US was able to track the launches in real time, the sources said.

The launches were likely intended to test the weapons and send a message to the West about Russian capabilities, multiple sources told CNN. Russia’s Ministry of Defence said Saturday that it had launched hypersonic Kinzhal missiles against a military ammunitions warehouse in western Ukraine on Friday, destroying the structure in the Ukrainian village of Delyatin. CNN is unable to independently verify this claim.

Traveling at Mach 5 speed or faster, hypersonic weapons are difficult to detect, posing a challenge to missile defense systems. Hypersonic missiles can travel at a far lower trajectory than high-arcing ballistic missiles, which can be easily detectable. Hypersonics can also maneuver and evade missile defense systems.

The Pentagon has made developing hypersonic weapons one of its top priorities, particularly as China and Russia are working to develop their own versions.

The Stratolauncher Roc is uniquely, and one of a kind, powered by six (6) Boeing 747 engines and has two cockpits. The purpose of the aircraft is to launch Piggy Backing and hauled vehicles from the inner section of the aircraft for airborne release and immediate hypersonic flight. The usage of the “Roc” aircraft is termed/identified as the “carrier” vehicle in the system. The Stratolaunch TalonA is a flexible, high-speed testbed built for hypersonic research, experiments, and enabling operational missions.”

Next, over the approximately next three (3) months the mirrors, constructed of Beryllium (Be2+, atomic number [#] 4) metal, will be painstakingly aligned to ideal perfection with micron (micrometer / 10^-6 meter) and nanometer (10^-9 meter) movements of the eighteen (18) hexagonal (six-sided) mirrors, each 1.32 meters (4.3 feet) in diameter. Virgin Orbit is a boutique small satellite launching company with the marketing line & slogan “THE PREMIERE SMALL SATELLITE LAUNCH SERVICE”, Prominently Display on the front page of the company website. “WE ARE ON A MISSION TO OPEN SPACE TO EVERYONE” is also displayed on the front lower right corner of the Virgin Orbit front page.

Notably, today’s Virgin Orbit launch was in the immediate wake of an earlier negatively disturbing announcement from Virgin Galactic; Just Hours Before on the same day, possibly as damage control and/or distraction.

Virgin Galactic decided to DROP the news it will be taking on an additional $425 million to $500 million United States Dollars (U.S.D.) of debt, while it has paused All revenue generating flight presumably through the end of the year or longer, according to Barrons (https://www.barrons.com/articles/virgin-galactic-stock-51642101161). The provided manuals are solid and well written with sufficient illustrations and screenshots. Aircraft takeoff performance charts, takeoff and landing charts, center of gravity (C.G.) charts, and cruise power tables are all included and present, which is happily received by the customers. The charts and tables for the real aircraft this was modeled from should have been included in the manual.

The final version tested was version 1.3 .

The flight model and flight dynamics are Spectacular. I took the aircraft through Rigorous flight envelope testing and single engine flight. It is by far the best twin engine flight simulation I have encountered to day. While I have not flown a real life Piper Seneca, though have flown a fast Piper Twin Comanche in real life, I would expect the simulation flight dynamics and flight model to mirror a real life Piper Seneca V. Carenado notes on their product webpage that the simulation has been rigorously tested by several real life Piper Seneca V pilots.

The version tested is the most current version 1.3. Other than adding increased systems depth and fidelity, I see no significant or notable areas needing corrections and/or improvements. Functionality Quality:

I found the Airport Regional Environment X (A.R.E.X.) Europe provides to be robustly and universally applicable to all airports in North America (N.A.). While have airport vehicles vehicles density set to the absolute maximum possible setting, there were consistently noticeable levels of generic airports vehicles. This certainly could use further improvement because the designed estectic environmental effect is not Fully in effect. Lastly, while infrequent, I did notice some anomalies were Airport Regional Environment X (A.R.E.X.) North America (N.A.) vehicles were incorrectly placed in European airports. For example, the below screenshot was from an London (United Kingdom) airport with a Palm Beach International Airport, located Florida (U.S.A.), firetruck placed incorrectly.

Hopefully LatinVFR has or will correct this problem.

Aerosoft has been a perennial publisher in the flight simulator market for decades. According to reports Aerosoft Extensively helped with the development of the latest iteration of the Microsoft Flight Simulator (M.S.F.S.). This year Aerosoft has published the first airline transport category turbojet a Meticulously Crafted high-fidelity Bombardier Canadair Regional Jet (C.R.J.) 550 and 700 aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The scope of this review is to evaluate the overall quality, in association its degree of fidelity, and the effective utility within the simulation.

The goal of this review is to have a robust review of the product, the product performance, and the Aerosoft CANADAIR Regional Jet (C.R.J.) 550 and 700 .

I have done extensive, rigorous, and prolonged testing for this review.

Microsoft Flight Simulator Version: Game Of The Year Edition with Direct X 12 Beta Enabled.

The final Aerosoft CRJ version tested was 1.0.11.0 .

All of the testing was done with the Saitek 3D PRO joystick. Inexcusably the product is not compatible with the external hardware interface FSUIPC (Pete and John Dawson) required for the Precision Flight Controls Yoke and Throttle set detailed below.

Upon direct email consultation with Aerosoft Project Manager Mathijs Kok and Cedric Mattys, it was disclosed that Aerosoft has declined to provide functionality to FSUIPC because M.S.F.S. has developed sufficient advanced controls native to the program.

Following receiving this information, I shut down the FSUIPC program and was able to nearly fully assign most essential control inputs into the M.S.F.S. Controls Assignments. However, the Take Off Go Around (T.O.G.A.) button assignment was not available in M.S.F.S. Controls menu. The M.S.F.S. Controls menu does have an option for an Auto Throttle T.O.G.A.

Ultimately, all essential assignments for external controls can be assigned within the M.S.F.S. Controls, With Limitations.

The provided manual is well written with sufficient details and very well illustrated with number screenshots. Aircraft takeoff performance charts, takeoff and landing charts, center of gravity (C.G.) charts, and cruise power tables are all absent. The charts and tables for the real aircraft this was modeled from should have been included in the manual.

Graphics & Texture Quality:

The overall graphics quality including texture sharpness and clarity at native 4K/Ultra-High-Definition (U.H.D.) resolution are OUTSTANDINGLY AMAZING, as Expected. Briefly, the texture and modeling are the best seen to date in M.S.F.S. for any aircraft. Perhaps some may argue the relic Precision Manuals Development Group (P.M.D.G.) DC-6 looks better. However, from my seat and perspective this modern turbojet aircraft Aerosoft has delivered is unmatched in both modeling and texture quality and detail.

ThreeDimensional (3D) Virtual Cockpit Modeling, Textures, and Lighting

The cockpit is delivered to the quality as expected.

Flight Dynamics & Flight Modeling Quality:

The aircraft flight model and dynamics appear, sound, and feel as they should. The slow flight, stalling (i.e. power on & off, thirty-degree turning stalls, steep turns, power on (Clean and in Full Landing Configurations), acceleration and deceleration rates all seem very realistic and of the highest fidelity.

Aircraft Systems Quality:

The aircraft systems are robust, basic, and well defined for s study level flight simulation. There are is no weather radar or terrain radar included.

I Highly Implore the purchase and usage of the HighFidelity Aerosoft Canada Regional Jet (C.R.J.) 550 and 700 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This simulation is extremely reasonable, has solid systems, with OUTSTAINDING Visual Textures and Modeling. The product is nearly flawless taking into account the non-compatibility of the external hardware interface FSUIPC (Pete and John Dawson) required for the Precision Flight Controls Yoke and Throttle set, which is Inexcusable. The $50.99 United Stated Dollar (U.S.D.), or 40.19 Euro’s, price point is Very Reasonable & an UNBEATABLE VALUE!!!!!!! Testing specifications for the we same as above except the Windows 11 upgrade was not present.

In summary, the P3D (version 5) version of the aircraft had better systems modeling due to the platform maturity and evolution. The flight model and flight dynamics were outstanding, yet felt and seemed notably lower than the MSFS version. Ultimately the texture modeling and texture quality were the best the inferior platform was capable of generating.
